“I always hear about the enemies of freedom abroad… what about the FIGHT against enemies of freedom here at home. I don’t know about you people but past experiences in my role as a political activist, community organizer and blue collar worker, it felt like a battle to me.
It’s clear our government officials are a bunch of puppets who sold out the American PEOPLE... NO, I want to get to the root of all our nations problems, that would be that top 1% elitists who political activists are complaining about all the time AND all those Hank Paulson craven types who do their bidding.
I think we need to focus on that TOP 400 wealthest families who made their fortunes on the backs of American workers, American ingenuity, technology, ideas… using infrastructure paid for by the American taxpayer… And how did they repay us? These silver spoon, trust fund baby m’f***er’s moved all our jobs to Asia, fouled our environment with stuff that would make a billy goat puke and turned our politicians into a stable of high priced prostitutes.
It used to be called bribery, collusion and all those crimes covered by the RICO Act. NOW IT'S lobbying and political action... How come they can get away with a white bred corporate crime wave of epic proportions but our jails are filled by pot smokers? These Wall Street guys ruined our economy with their reckless policies and deregulation, so why aren’t the American PEOPLE standing up to them?
There’s only about a 1000 of them but there’s MILLIONS of us. There’s 50 MILLION of us living below the poverty level. Probably another million+ non-violent offenders ruined by the Convict Lease System, jail/prison business empire. That’s a fight I’ll take… (what about YOU wimp-ass, apathetic, pussies?)
JOIN THE CLASS WAR NOW! If the American PEOPLE had any balls they'd occupy Wall Street and hold the greed stricken, power mad, evil, money changers accountable for their crimes.
Like I always tell my Conservative wacko friends, this ain’t no Tea Party, this is a bleeping Class War. I’ll tell you why the Republicans hate the US government so much. Our government is the only thing strong enough to hold this neo-con criminal enterprise accountable, but only if the people force the government to do IT’S JOB.”
LISTEN! Quote from Frank from ... :
"Just a note to all you Johnny-come-lately's speaking out against the war on working class Americans. I was part of a demand accountability movement (1998-2003) that questioned economic polices and police abuse of power issues of that time. (protest movement started in Southern California surrounding the questionable police shootings of Tyisha Miller, Irvin Landrum Jr., Dante Meniefield, Ginenne Stover, Anthony Lee, etc...)
The police state got SO BAD... I was arrested and held with no charges for 8 days just to keep me from organizing at the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. I don't remember getting much support from Democrats, Liberals or Progressives... (except Rev. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton)
What was Corporate/Financial America busy with at that time?
See the newspapers, 4/16/99 article titled: “Mattel to layoff 3,000 workers. WALL STREET CHEERED the news of restructuring, sending Mattel’s stock up nearly 16 percent…” WHAT? We all know how IT turned out now that our children have all the latest LEAD based toys from China.
Questions one must ask: How did Wall Street become the enemy of the American working class? What did the 90’s Congress legislate to make it easy for Corporations to move jobs out of the country? AND, would the police of the time blame 3000 Mattel workers for being VERY angry? Because that news article was about as “in your face” as it gets…
The reason why I bring police into the picture is because law enforcement UNIONS and associations have become some of the most powerful, wealthy entities on the American political scene. I can’t help but remember how many times in US history POLICE harassed, abused, beat, gassed and shot those who supported UNION organizing efforts. Public Service UNIONS have the sort of job/pension/healthcare security those of us in the private sector can only dream about.
Note: (civil servants my skinny Italian-American @$$… just who is serving WHO? Now that Progressives are standing up for public sector unions I hope they’ll remember next time we decide to demand accountability from silver spoon, trust fund babies… AND NOT harass, abuse, gas, beat, shoot with rubber bullets and wrongfully jail supporters of the NEW protest movement of concerned citizens. See concerncitizens.blogspot.com)
Not only top leaders in big business but also those from government that have INFLUENCE over America’s future. Mussolini once said: “… fascism might more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of State and corporate power…”
I always use the example from newspapers on the date 4/16/99. Government, media and big business was at it’s worst. Look at the headline: “Congress wraps up work on $1.74 trillion budget”. They should put more emphasis on that word trillion, maybe Trillion, no, no TRILLION! Oh look, the public servants are eager show they’re efficiently working for the best interests of the PEOPLE… So they can waste our hard earned tax dollars later.
What did YOU get for your money on 4/16/99? Sex, sex, sex, morality? My GOD, we might as well have elected circus animals to lead the nation. At least that way the American PEOPLE can go to the ZOO and watch them fornicate, cohabit, copulate, debauch, couple, fraternize, brawl and lick each other.
I will never forgive the media of that time for failing to live up to their role as the 4th Estate and killing responsible journalism. If the people don’t rise up to make demands then all is lost.
